Meditation

 

Meditation is a big subject… but that doesn't mean it has to be complicated!  If you are interested in experiencing more peace in your life, start within, with the  simplicity of basic meditation, down-to-earth and practical for everyday living. 

The practice of meditation is widely recognized for its far-reaching benefits including equanimity, mental and emotional clarity, health and vitality, self-awareness and connection to your heart and spirit.  As the mind becomes clearer and quieter, our heart can more easily direct our choices.  These subtle changes are transmitted to others through our more silently powerful presence.

In January, we will explore a simple and practical meditation technique in an Intro to Meditation Workshop with Jana Labib, held at Zenana on Sunday, January 13th from 12-2:30p.  In this Workshop, we will practice short meditations and exercises that will help you to embody your spirit in everyday life… there will be ample time for discussion, questions and answers so that you leave with skills grounded in experience and tailored to your specific needs. 

What better way to bring in the New Year than with a renewed commitment to living from the heart!
