Beyond Birth Lactation Services provides the support and technical assistance needed to foster success for the breastfeeding family. Our experienced lactation specialists provide evidence-based information and comprehensive, skilled assistance to help you through the joys and challenges of breastfeeding.

Adrienne Fuson
BA, LMT, CD (DONA), IBCLC
Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Adrienne teaches our Prenatal Breastfeeding Education classes, in addition to providing lactation consultation and education at Beyond Birth. Adrienne has been working with breastfeeding families since 1994. She received her training through Evergreen Hospital's Course for Lactation Specialists. She is on the faculty of Birthingway College of Midwifery where she trains birth doulas. She has been a birth doula for 14 years and is also a licensed massage therapist specializing in prenatal and postpartum massage. She is a member of Nursing Mother's Counsel, the International Lactation Consultants Association, and DONA International.
Heather Dana

Lactation Specialist
Heather has been helping breastfeeding families since 1999. She completed her lactaton education through Breastfeeding Support Consultants and joined Beyond Birth in 2000. She is a member of Nursing Mother’s Counsel, and the International Lactation Consultants Association and has been a Northwest Attachment Parenting group Leader. Heather's experience includes breastfeeding a daughter with special medical needs. Email Heather
Joanne Edwards (picture coming soon),

Joanne has been working with breastfeeding families since 1999, as a health visitor & teenage parent specialist in the UK and in New Zealand as an infant massage educator and breastfeeding educator/coach. She now joins Beyond Birth as a Lactation Specialist. Joanne is a member of Oregon/Washington Lactation Association and Nursing Mothers Counsel, she is also the area coordinator for the Big Latch On and teaches infant massage.
Lyla Wolfenstein

Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Lyla has been counseling breastfeeding families since 1998. In addition to her work with Beyond Birth, Lyla teaches prenatal breastfeeding classes, facilitates support groups, and leads parenting classes and seminars. Lyla is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Assocation, the Oregon/Washington Lactation Association, and La Leche League International. Email Lyla
Meg Stalnaker

Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Meg has been working with breastfeeding families since 1990, as a postpartum doula, as a midwife and now as a lactation specialist and support group facilitator with Beyond Birth. In addition to her work with Beyond Birth, Meg teaches several hospital Childbirth, Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes. Meg is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Association and La Leche League International.
Stefanie Miller
BA, CD, CD(DONA), IBCLC
Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Stefanie has been supporting breastfeeding families since 2004. She draws from her background as a doula to offer a sensitive approach to help mothers work through the challenges of breastfeeding and motherhood. Stefanie completed her Lactation Consultant education and clinical experiences through UCSD Lactation Consultant Program in 2007 and received her IBCLC credentials in October 2008. In addition to her consulting work, Stefanie (a DONA International certified birth and postpartum doula) owns and operates The Doula Group.
Zenana-Renee Rose

Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Zenana has been working with breastfeeding families since 1998, as a mother-baby nurse, a hospital lactation consultant, and now with Beyond Birth. Zenana is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Association, the Oregon/Washington Lactation Association, and La Leche League International. Email Zenana
